Meet Maria!

FROM COLOMBIA TO THE BAY AREA

Hola! I am Maria, founder of Delirio.
I grew up in Colombia surrounded by people who grow some of the world’s best coffee, but I never liked its bitterness and I did not want the sugar. Everything changed when I tasted a cup that was naturally sweet. To understand the mystery, I visited fincas in Colombia, where farmers showed me how sweetness comes from perfectly ripe coffee cherries—picked only when they are rewarded for quality. Seeing how honoring their work breaks the cycle of poverty rocked my world.

I left my job in energy, moved to Stanford, and spent a year studying how to share this sweetness with the world. Delirio was born. Together, we can transform a massive industry. All we have to do is drink and share delicious coffee.

STORYTELLING ENGINEERING

I'm David. Engineer by training, builder by nature.

This is my third company over the past decade, always at the intersection of strategy, brand, and execution. My background is in Mechatronic Engineering, which means I think in systems; how things connect, how they scale, how they last. That's exactly how I approach brand building.

Delirio is a Colombian ColdBrew coffee company built for the people who believe the irrational is just a starting point. We go directly into the offices, the spaces where people gather, connect, and build something bigger than themselves.

I've directed and shot for brands like Red Bull, Oakley, Thule, and Natura/Avon — leading campaigns as a director and executive producer, and getting into the details that actually move things forward.
