Impact in Our Bay Area Communities

Impact in Our Bay Area Communities

I was born in Colombia and raised in the Bay Area, which is to say I have two accents and no apologies for either.

My profile was written at Stanford, where months went into learning what the beans wanted to become. The roast is slow and intentional, never burned, because I have nothing to hide under a dark roast. I am brewed and shipped out of the Bay Area, and I reach you in the hands of local drivers and small local businesses, the people who make it possible for a young company to show up on time.

When I grew into a shelf-stable can, production expanded to a specialized facility in Southern California, so the can in your fridge is the same coffee that started in a Stanford dorm. Purity travels well.

The better choice can taste better. You don't have to take my word for it. I won a National Cold Brew Championship and was a finalist at the Good Food Awards. I am becoming a Bay Area habit, in fridges, gyms, studios and living rooms, late at night or maybe early in the morning, where you'd expect to find Colombia's finest substance.

Every can that leaves the Bay Area keeps money in a chain of local hands: roasters, drivers, the people loading the trucks. That is the other half of my impact, and it happens a few miles from wherever you are reading this.

“Don't accept the substitute.”
